Also, a bonus is that having the one round tubular wire running from behind the cabinet over to behind the speakers looks really good if you aren't putting it in the wall. Don't get me wrong, I love it, but I wouldn't pay this. So, this is obviously more expensive and really, it's just speaker wire. It's 14 gauge so you get a little more girth than most of what I see on amazon or from monster in general. I have had this speaker wire for about three years now and I really like it, no doubt. However, I bought mine at a local A/V store and spent something like 50 cents per ft. This wire really has no bad qualities, like I said, it's just speaker wire; the pro's are that it is extremely flexible, when you splice it you can see the high content of thin copper strands; the white outer insulation is VERY tough- it almost needs its own tool to cut it- or maybe my knifes and scissors are just dull.
Worth the extra money as I had metal studs and running unprotected wire would have cut it to bits. The outer insulation is very tough and the correct product to use if you are putting your speaker wire in your walls.
